Why is the price so low?
The venues advertised on this site are Britain’s premier wedding venues, many of which hold over 250 weddings each year. The dates we offer are those that have either recently been cancelled or have never sold. They are mostly booked sight unseen relying on the excellent reputation of the venues.
These dates are offered at amazingly low prices in exactly the same way that airlines or holiday companies sell off last minute vacancies. It is not that you get the second team, it is that you are getting exactly the same high standards as if you had paid full price and booked years ago.
Will I be able to get all the other services organised in time?
It is often thought that it takes many months or even years to organise a wedding but our experience has shown this is not the case. The real planning starts only 6-8 weeks before the wedding so you can book a great deal and still get your invitations sent out in the usual timeframe!
As soon as you book, you will be put in touch with your chosen venue, who will help with planning your wedding day. If you are planning to have a civil ceremony at the venue, we will also put you in touch with the Registrar who will be performing the ceremony so that you can arrange a time for this. Remember that these are experienced venues with many services provided in house- ceremony, food, drink, bar, even entertainment and overnight accommodation- Whirlwind Weddings are designed to make your wedding day stress free and happy.
When can I see the venue?
After you book, your details will be passed to the venue who will contact you as soon as possible to go and view the venue and discuss your day.
What if I want more guests than the wedding packages provide for?
Although most wedding packages offered are based on around sixty guests attending for the whole day, all of these venues can accommodate significantly larger numbers. Should you wish to invite more guests, you will be able to arrange this with your chosen venue (with extras charged at this year's prices).
Will I be able to get a Registrar to perform the ceremony?
We guarantee that the Registrars will be available to perform your marriage ceremony, as we only offer dates when they are able to attend. After booking you must personally instruct them yourselves by telephone and arrange the time of your ceremony.
What deposit is needed to make a booking?
To secure a date, a deposit of £500 is required via credit or debit card (non-refundable). The balance of the costs will be invoiced after the wedding is planned and will be due for payment as agreed with your chosen venue.
